3-D Paper Ornaments

The cold weather is here and with it comes the need for new craft ideas. For your next crafting session, try your hand at these 3-D paper ornaments. Hang them on your tree and enjoy them this and every Christmas!

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Crayola Markers
  • Scissors
  • Yarn
  • Hole punch
  • Paper towels
  • Recycled newspaper (to protect work surface)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Draw two matching star shapes for each ornament and cut out.

2. Decorate both sides of each ornament.

3. With each pair of stars, cut a slit from the top down to the center on one piece. Cut a slit in the matching shape from the bottom up to the center. Slide shapes over each other at the slits.

4. Punch a hole at the top and insert a loop of yarn for hanging.
