Materials:

• Wooden shape, your choice
• Acrylic paint, your choice of colors
• Fine paintbrush
• Lace or string (to attach tag to backpack)

• Scissors
• Pencil
• Wooden hand drill

1. Use pencil to draw any special outlines you want on the wooden shape to allow for different paint colors to be used.
   
   

2. Ask an adult to use the hand drill to make a hole in the wooden shape.
   
   

3. Paint wooden shape, as desired. Let these colors dry.
   
   

4. Cut lacing or string to the desired length and use it to attach this backpack tag onto a bag or backpack.
