Beaded Key Chain for Mom

 

Make a personalized message for your mom. She will think about you every time she uses her keys!

 

Supplies:

Westrim® Swivel Clips

Darice® Alphabet Beads

Rattail cord, white

Colored beads

Scissors

Craft glue

 

Instructions:

Arrange colored beads and alphabet beads in front of you on your work surface in the pattern that you want.

 

Cut a piece of white rattail cord approximately 4 inches longer to extend past each end of the patterns you created.

 

Wrap the cord around the ring on the swivel clip and tie several half-knots to secure the cord onto the ring.

Thread the beads onto the cord following the order of the pattern you created.

 

When all of the beads are in place, tie off the cord at the bottom with several more half knots to secure the beads in place. Trim off the remaining cord. Secure the half-knots with tiny dots of craft glue.
