Bull's Eye Toss Game

You don't have to buy games for your kids. With a little help from an adult, they can make them. With this kid-friendly bull's-eye game, a rainy day can turn into dart tournament.

Supplies & tools:

• White foamcore board

• 9"x12" felt sheets:

Red, 3

Blue & yellow, 1 each

• Adhesive felt numbers: white & blue, 1 pkg. each

• 2" Styrofoam® brand foam balls, 1 pkg.

• Velcro® adhesive dots, 3 pkgs.

• 36" piece of red ribbon

• Spray adhesive

• Duck® tape

• Scissors & X-Acto® knife*

*Only use X-Acto® knife with adult supervision

Directions:

Target

1. Cut a 12" circle out of foamcore board using X-Acto® knife.

2. Spray foamcore circle with adhesive and cover with 2 sheets of red felt. Trim to size.

3. Cut an 8" circle out of blue felt, then cut out center of circle, keeping a 1" border to form an “O” shape.

4. Glue blue felt “O” on top of red felt-covered foamcore and place 2" from the edge.

5. Cut a 3" circle from yellow felt and glue in center of the board.

6. Cut a star from remaining blue felt and glue in center of yellow circle.

7. Cut four, 1"x2" strips from yellow felt and place around the outside of the board to create four dividers. Space strips approximately 61⁄2" apart and glue in place.

8. Add blue and white adhesive numbers. Attach red ribbon to back of board with two pieces of Duck® tape.

Balls

1. Cut one 61⁄4"x3/4" strip from red felt. Glue around ball.

2. Cut two 21⁄2"x3/4" strips from red felt. Glue around sides of ball.

3. Add Velcro® adhesive dots to red felt on the top, bottom and sides of ball.

4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for remaining 2 balls. Note: Create 3 balls total.
