Brownie Sweet Hearts

Ingredients/Materials

  • Wilton Silicone Mini Heart 6-Cavity Mold
  • Wilton Cooling Grid
  • Wilton Tips- No. 3 and No. 5
  • Wilton Icing Colors- Rose and Black
  • Wilton Sugars- Pink
  • Wilton Disposable Decorating Bags
  • Wilton Cake Release
  • Buttercream Icing Recipe
  • Favorite Brownie Recipe
  • Cornstarch
  • Instructions
  • Bake and cool brownies.

    Use tip 3 and pink icing to outline heart; sprinkle with pink sugars.

    Use tip 5 and white icing to pipe whites of eyes (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

    Use tip 5 and black icing to pipe pupils (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

    Use tip 5 and pink icing to pipe nose and mouth (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

    Crispy Heart Treats

    Ingredients:

    • Wilton Standard Muffin Pan
    • Wilton Double Heart Large Lollipop Mold
    • Wilton Cooling Grid
    • Wilton Candy Melts®- White and Red
    • Wilton Garden Candy Color Set
    • Wilton 6 in. Lollipop Sticks
    • Wilton Hearts Mix Sprinkle Decorations
    • Favorite crisped rice cereal recipe
    • Curling Ribbon- Pink
    • Card Stock Paper- White
    • Fine Tip Marker- Black
    • Waxed Paper
    • Single Hole Punch

     Instructions:

    To make base: Mold crisped rice cereal treat mixture 1 1/4" deep in muffin pan. Unmold and place large side down on cooling grid positioned over waxed paper.

    Divide white candy melts in half and tint one half pink with color from candy color set.

    Cover treats with melted pink candy; let dry and repeat process. Immediately coat sides of treat with heart sprinkle decorations; let set.

    To make lollipops: Melt red candy, place in cut parchment bag and use to pipe in dots and outlines on hearts; refrigerate to set. Fill pink heart first with melted candy; refrigerate until set. Fill remainder of mold with melted white candy, position lollipop stick and refrigerate until set. Unmold immediately after set.

    Insert lollipop into base. Cut 1 x 2" note card, print message, punch hole and attach to lollipop stick with ribbon!
