Aspiring fashion models get makeovers and a chance to strut their stuff on the catwalk during this party. Recruit parents or teenagers to be hair and makeup artists and then act as the paparazzi as the girls model their fashions.

Decorations

·        Silver and gold helium balloons with weights to create a runway that the girls will walk down

·        Silver and gold crepe paper and tablecloths

Food

·     Mirror Cake -- Make a sheet cake and lay a plastic hand mirror on the top. Place the candles around the mirror to create a lighted mirror.

• Sandwiches cut into shapes using cookie cutters
• Fresh fruit
• Yogurt parfaits

Activities/Games

Dress-Up Relay -- Assemble items such as wigs, sunglasses, dresses, shoes, and jewelry and put them into a suitcase or clothes basket. Have a group of items for each team. Divide the girls into teams and have them line up. Put the dress-up items at the front of the line. At the signal to start, the first person must put on all of the items. They then run back to the starting line with the suitcase, take off all of the clothes, put them into the suitcase and run back to the starting line. Then one by one the people behind them have to do the same thing. The first team to have all members put on and take off the clothes wins.

Makeup Mania -- Blindfold everyone and give each a lipstick or blush. They then put makeup on each other. At the end of a certain amount of time, they remove their blindfolds and see how "beautiful" they made each other.

Beauty Makeover -- Ask an older girl and her friend(s) to do the guests' hair, makeup, and nails.

Walk the Catwalk and Photo Shoot -- Have each girl strut her stuff down the runway with the adults taking pictures and one adult announcing the girls. After the fashion show, do a photo shoot of the girls. Take individual shots and group shots. Upload the pictures to your computer and print out the girls' favorites to take home. (Be sure to tell guests to bring a nice outfit to wear for the fashion show.)

Make up goody bags filled with nail polish, lip gloss, blush, a disposable camera, and their photo(s) from the fashion show.
